About Sugar Reels

Sugar Reels turns a printed edible image into a video moment. A baker prints your image and a QR code on the treat. Guests scan it with their phone, and a video plays right on the food, or they record a message back.
The idea
A treat they taste. A moment they keep.
It starts as something sweet: a cookie, a cake, or another treat decorated with an edible image. Then someone scans the QR code, points their camera at the image, and the treat starts playing a video made just for them.
One moment they are looking at a beautifully decorated treat. The next, it is playing a video message just for them.
No more boring desserts. Every treat becomes a moment people film, share, and remember.
How it works

An edible image, a QR code, and a phone camera. That's all your guests need.

Your baker prints your image on edible paper or right on the food, along with your QR code.
- Scan02
Guests scan the QR Code, then point their camera at the image.

Your video plays right on the printed edible image.

Good to know
- Sugar Reels OG videos must be under 30 seconds. Guest Book messages and Reviews can be up to 30 seconds.
- Guests need Wi Fi or cell service to watch or record.
- For Sugar Reels OG, iPhone users just point their camera at the QR code. Android users need a free QR scanner app first. Guest Book and Reviews need no app on any phone.
- Sugar Reels OG only works on USA phones.

- Bakers listed in our directory are independent businesses. You order directly with them, and each baker sets their own prices. Your baker is responsible for your food, including ingredients, allergens, printing, and delivery.
- Sugar Reels
- Sugar Reels markets and promotes the program and hosts the free baker directory. Sugar Reels lists bakers but does not evaluate or guarantee a baker’s work.
- Print on Foods
- Print on Foods provides the Sugar Reels technology and produces, creates, and fulfills the Sugar Reels product and service.
- Icing Images
- Icing Images promotes and markets the program, and is where bakers can shop for edible printers.
