Do guests need to download an app?+
iPhone users simply point their camera at the QR code and tap the link — no app needed. Android users may need to download a free QR code scanner app.
What kind of video can I use?+
Any video you want. Popular choices include wedding invitation videos, save the date announcements, birthday messages, baby gender reveals, corporate brand videos, product launches, holiday greetings, and event highlight reels. The video should ideally be under 1 minute for the best guest experience. We suggest 30 seconds or less. Copyrighted, trademarked, explicit, or pornographic content is strictly prohibited. Customers are solely responsible for determining whether submitted images, videos, logos, music, or other media contain copyrighted or trademarked material and for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses before use.
How many desserts can I order?+
That depends on your baker. Most bakers on SugarReels can accommodate orders of any size. Guests often scan SugarReels multiple times to rewatch and share the experience. On average, each SugarReel generates about 3 video scans. For example, when a customer orders 100 SugarReels, the order includes approximately 300 video scans/views. Additional scan packs are available if your event is larger. Scans can be purchased by the end user if during the event they would like to order more scans.
Can every guest scan the same dessert?+
Yes. Each QR code can be scanned multiple times. Your scan package determines how many total scans are included. When scans run low, additional packs can be purchased directly through your client portal.
How far in advance do I need to order?+
We recommend ordering at least 2 to 3 weeks before your event to allow time for the baker to create your cookies, upload your video, and receive the processed QR code back. Talk to your baker about their specific timeline.

Can I see the video before the event?+
Yes. You will receive a private client portal link where you can preview your cookie design, watch the linked video, and download your QR code before your event date.

Interactive desserts work beautifully for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, corporate events, product launches, holiday parties, and any event where you want to create a memorable guest experience.
What if I need more scans after my event?+
No problem. You can purchase additional scan packs at any time through your client portal.
How do I find a baker near me?+
Use the search and filter tools on our directory page. You can filter by state, specialty, and whether the baker ships nationwide. Many bakers on SugarReels ship cookies across the country, so location does not have to be a barrier.
What does it cost?+
Pricing varies by baker for the cookie design and decoration work. Your baker will include this in their quote or you can discuss it directly with them.

Create an account on SugarReels, build your profile, and start your $10 monthly listing. Your profile will be reviewed and approved by our team. Once active, customers across the country can discover your business and book with you directly.
