SugarReels Baker Service Agreement & Terms of Use

Effective Date: June 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Agreement Overview

This Baker Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between SugarReels, operated by Icing Images ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), and the individual or business entity registering as a baker on the SugarReels platform ("Baker," "you," or "your"). By completing the baker application, accessing your SugarReels dashboard, or delivering SugarReels-powered services to clients, you agree to be legally bound by all terms set forth in this Agreement.

SugarReels is a baker directory and technology platform that connects bakers with clients seeking interactive edible printing experiences. Through our partnership with Print on Foods, bakers can offer AR-enabled (augmented reality) interactive dessert experiences — unique QR codes printed onto food items using edible ink that, when scanned, trigger personalized video experiences in the guest's browser. No app download is required for iPhone users. Android users may need a free QR scanner app.

2. Baker Responsibilities

2.1 Edible Printing Standards

As a SugarReels-authorized baker, you are solely responsible for the quality, food safety, and scannability of all edible QR codes you produce. You agree to:

  • Use only food-safe, FDA-compliant edible inks and substrates approved for human consumption
  • Print QR codes at a minimum size of 1.5 inches x 1.5 inches to ensure reliable scanning
  • Test-scan at least one QR code from every batch before delivery using a standard smartphone camera
  • Ensure sufficient contrast between the QR code and the background icing or surface
  • Allow adequate drying time to prevent ink bleeding or smearing
  • Store printed items appropriately to prevent moisture damage prior to delivery

2.2 Client Communication

You agree to:

  • Verify that the correct order is active in your Print on Foods dashboard before printing any desserts
  • Communicate to your client the scan limit included in their package
  • Inform clients that iPhone guests can scan directly with their camera; Android guests may need a free QR scanner app
  • Inform clients that guests require internet access (Wi-Fi or cellular) to trigger the AR video experience
  • Recommend that clients choose event venues with reliable Wi-Fi or cellular signal

2.3 Accurate Information

You are responsible for entering accurate business and order information. SugarReels and Print on Foods are not responsible for any consequence resulting from data entry errors made by the baker.

3. Technology Risks & Limitations

SugarReels and Print on Foods are internet-based software services. By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept that all internet-based services carry inherent risks.

3.1 Scan Limits

Each order package includes a fixed number of scans. Once the scan limit is reached, guests will see an error and no further AR experiences can be triggered until additional scan packs are purchased. It is the baker's responsibility to communicate scan limits to clients.

3.2 Print Quality Failures

QR codes that are printed too small, with insufficient contrast, or with bleeding edible ink may fail to scan. These are physical printing failures outside the control of SugarReels or Print on Foods. Bakers are required to test-scan a sample from every batch prior to delivery.

3.3 Network & Connectivity

Guests must have active internet access to trigger the AR video experience. SugarReels and Print on Foods are not responsible for experiences that fail due to inadequate network conditions at the event venue.

3.4 Device & Browser Compatibility

The AR video experience plays through the guest's mobile browser. iPhone users can scan directly with their native camera app. Android users may need to download a free QR scanner app. Some older or restricted devices may not support the experience. SugarReels does not guarantee universal device compatibility.

3.5 Service Downtime

SugarReels and Print on Foods may experience scheduled or unscheduled outages. We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not responsible for events affected by service interruptions.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUGARREELS, ICING IMAGES, PRINT ON FOODS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

IN ALL CASES WHERE LIABILITY IS FOUND, THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

5. Subscription & Refund Policy

5.1 SugarReels Directory Listing

SugarReels directory listing fees ($10/month or $100/year) are non-refundable once a listing period has begun. Listings may be cancelled at any time and will remain active through the end of the paid period.

5.2 Print on Foods Orders

Refund terms for Print on Foods processing fees are governed separately by Print on Foods. SugarReels is not responsible for refunds related to Print on Foods services.

5.3 Client Refunds

SugarReels does not have a direct financial relationship with your clients. Any refund obligations to clients are governed solely by your agreement with your client.

6. Baker Representations & Warranties

By entering into this Agreement, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts
  • You operate a legitimate baking or confectionery business
  • All food items you produce comply with applicable local, state, and federal food safety regulations
  • You have all necessary business licenses and food handler permits required in your jurisdiction
  • You will not misrepresent the SugarReels or Print on Foods services to clients
  • You will not attempt to circumvent or reverse engineer the platform

7. Intellectual Property

SugarReels and Print on Foods retain all right, title, and interest in their respective platforms and technology. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the SugarReels platform solely for the purpose of managing your baker listing and delivering services to clients.

You grant SugarReels a limited license to use your business name, photos, and general service description for the purpose of listing your business in the SugarReels directory and marketing materials, subject to your right to opt out by contacting sales@icingimages.com.

8. Term & Termination

This Agreement is effective upon your acceptance and continues until terminated. SugarReels reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of this Agreement, illegal activity, non-payment, or conduct harmful to the platform or other users.

You may terminate at any time by ceasing use of the platform and contacting sales@icingimages.com. Termination does not entitle you to any refund of previously paid fees except as described in Section 5.

9. Modifications

SugarReels reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days prior to the effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Icing Images is registered. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. Class action claims are expressly waived.
